Who We Are
We trade as Hobby Aids, based in the UK and our website address is: https://hobbyaids.co.uk.
We currently only ship to UK addresses. On orders over £20 we offer free UK postage. For orders below £20, postage will be added at checkout.
We typically post using Royal Mail First Class. We often re-use packaging.
Our aim is to dispatch within 1-2 working days of receiving an order.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We will need proof of purchase.
We cannot accept returns of opened intimate or sanitary items or gift cards.
When we receive the returned item, we will check the item. If it’s all OK, we’ll process the refund through the method used to purchase the item (eg Paypal). We will keep you updated by email.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will give you the returns address to send your item to.
To return your product, email us at email@example.com and we will send you our address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Terms Of Our Charity Support
Most months we select a charity or charity-like organisation to support. Ideally, we use charities/organisations suggested to us.
Our support consists of sharing information, usually gleaned from the organisation’s website, through selected social media and donating 10% of profit from sales to the organisation. The donation is calculated by subtracting fees and postage from the order income and then calculating 10% to donate. We aim to make the donation within 1 year. If the donation amount is very small and/or the charity’s website does not allow donations, the amount may be allocated to another of the chosen charities.
